This is the ancestral home of my family – I have been researching Walter Jesse Chapman who was killed in the Somme aged 19 (his name appears on the Long Marston memorial, and at Thiepval in France) I have some pictures of him and my Grandfather (another son of John and Lousa Chapman at Church Farm which I would be happy to post.

One of my ancestors William Jesse Rodwell lived there until 1889, not sure what happened to it after that. Im fairly sure the Chapman name is in my family tree, but don’t have it to hand just now.
