Help with these 1930’s pictures from Long Marston School

Do you recognize anyone in these delightful pictures taken at Long Marston School in the late 1930's?

Maybe someone from your family is included. The photos have been sent in to Village News by Peter Savage. Peter now lives in Devon, but in the 1930’s his father, Mr Gordon Savage, was Headmaster at Long Marston School.

Peter is preparing some of his father’s archive material for the school and would be grateful for any information anyone has about the pupils and staff in the pictures, and when they might have been taken.

If you can assist – even with one name – please let him know. You can write to us at Village News and we will pass on your letters. Thank you Peter for offering these great pictures for publication. They all look as if they are having a lovely time!

This article is an extract from previous issue of the Village News. Any mention to events in the article have probably long since passed and are for information only.
